𝐇𝐞𝐦𝐩 𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 ‘𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐥𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭’. 🧙

The reason is that hemp as a species seems to perfectly co-exist with human beings. 🌱 🤝 👫 

We use it:

• as a textile to keep us comfortable and warm

• as building material to create a roof over our heads

• as medicine to keep our bodies healthy and our minds at ease

• as soil remediation for our farmlands

• as a high-protein food source

• and the list goes on and on. 

Then the question might arise why we at Hempax, out of all these amazing uses, choose to focus on hemp paper. The reason for that is threefold.

1.       𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 🆕 

While many hemp applications are already developed and entering mature market phases, hemp paper still lags behind. The paper industry still relies on outdated and unsustainable wood-pulp practices.

2.       𝐏𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 📦 

The second and biggest reason is that hemp paper is ideal for packaging. The problem of plastic pollution is huge, and so is the win that we can gain here. Replacing plastic with paper from trees isn't the answer, we would just lose our forests. That’s why we’re on a mission to offer truly sustainable hemp paper packaging.

3.       𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 💰 

Besides all our utopic desires, we need to be realistic. There needs to be a large market and there needs to be space for us to capitalize on with the resources we have at our disposal. (TAM/SAM/SOM for our entrepreneurially minded friends.) The hemp paper market offers all three. 

Even more so, the demand for sustainable alternatives to wood-pulp paper and plastic products is increasing exponentially while the total demand for packaging is only growing.

Lastly, as an entrepreneur you need to focus in order to make it. We can only change the world one product at a time. So we will continue the fight to make hemp paper the new standard.
